I’m very excited to share this sweet engagement session with you- because it’s something definitely different than what I normally shoot!
When discussing engagement locations with my brides and grooms- I always encourage them to come up with a location that is meaningful to them- most of the time that is a familiar outdoor location, and they often bring props that make it more unique to them as a couple.
When I asked Kari and David where they wanted to have their engagement session, they mentioned that they would love to have some pictures of their new house they purchased together- and from there, we crafted this fun shoot to serve as a way to document some first memories in their new home. David actually proposed at a tree in the front of the property, so this place will forever hold sentimental value to them. After some more “formal” pictures throughout their house under construction as well as their backyard with their cute puppies- we decided to have some fun capturing something they’ve been doing a lot of lately- painting. We had so much fun being creative with this shoot- and I hope you enjoy the result!
Kari and David- you two are a blast to be around, and I’m SO excited to be the one capturing your big day in May!
