Living in central London means that we are just a few minutes walk from some magnificent and world famous landmarks- Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the list could go on and on…And it’s fantastic!
But one of my favorite parts of the city- is exploring more of the “behind the scenes”- the row house neighborhoods, the corner cafes and bakeries, the charity shops– the little things that bring personality to this great city!
And one of my favorite things to photograph in these “behind the scenes” explorations are the very charming and lovely doors of London residents! I’ve found quite a few- and I’ve only covered a few blocks with my camera- so I expect to find lots and lots more. So I’ve decided to start a “Door Post Friday” mini-series showcasing “my finds”My first “installment” features the doors within a few blocks of our flat- doors of Westminster and some of Pimplico.
I LOVE the colors, the numbers, the stone, the white molding- all so very lovelyEnjoy!
