In the busyness that is wedding season, and fall “engagement session” season, I’ve REALLY started to realize the importance of taking “time-off”…It has been a BUSY season (and it’s just about to get busier!)- so this Friday night, Joey and I drove to Bucks County, Pennsylvania to my aunt’s gorgeous house to spend the weekend with her and my awesome sister who is SO CLOSE to completing her masters and doctorate in Physical Therapy at Arcadia University.
Every single time we go to Aunt Elisa’s- we are spoiled beyond measure- with THE BEST FULL WEEKEND of food (LITERALLY woke up to the smell of the freshest maple bacon cooking on Saturday) , drives along the prettiest roads, and sweet talks about life and reminiscing. It’s a time that does the heart GOOD.
Here’s a bit of a peek into our lovely weekend- complete with apple picking, cider donuts, time with the sweetest golden retrievers, lookouts over beautiful country, explorations of Becca’s university CASTLE!, and much-needed REST.
Thank you, dear Aunt Elisa for a fantastic weekend. Love you!
Happy Monday, friends!
