GOOD morning, friends! Today was the first day that I’ve slept in past 7:30 am in several months- and it was the BEST, and just what I needed! It’s been a marathon weekend- and sleep dropped off the priority list- but it was so worth it. In a job that’s so life-giving, you don’t always need sleep
My “weekend” started on Thursday with Sara and Matt’s incredibly romantic fall wedding at Cana Vineyards. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about these two- I love them, their families, and their story- and I cannot wait to share here later this week!
On Saturday morning, Joey and I drove to Annapolis to pick up some GORGEOUS bouquets from the amazing talent that is Intrigue Designs for our Sunday styled engagement shoot. I am super excited to be sharing that e-session with you soon- but first take a look at these stunning florals! They are debuting a new line of gorgeous bouquets through their branch store, Pops of Plum- and I’m so happy I got a chance to photograph these lovelies!
Later that afternoon we drove to Rockville to my home church to honor one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever met- Mr. Brinkman in celebrating his 75th birthday! It was a true pleasure to be there to capture some portraits of their beautiful and continually growing family. The Brinkmans have been such a light in my life- so it was so rewarding to be able to be a part of such a wonderful celebration!
After a night of relaxing at my parents house and getting to spend some quality time with the family- we headed to Leesburg for Caitlin and Grant’s styled engagement session at the Old Lucketts Store! So many amazing vendors worked together to make this romantic session happen- and I’m dying to share more!
Another very busy week awaits- but I am ending this weekend and starting this week feeling SO grateful for my job. What a blessing it is to be able to work with such beautifully inspiring people and vendors. Thankful.
Happy COLUMBUS Day, friends! Still not super sure why it’s a federal holiday- but- Happy LONG weekend!
