I remember meeting Kristie in sixth grade. As we all know ALL too well- sixth grade isn’t necessarily awesome. But when you make a friend like Kristie- the middle school horrors somehow become bearable- and actually start to turn enjoyable. We braved the the halls of Redland Middle School and Magruder High School together- making the best of memories and growing the most wonderful friendship. Kristie has been a constant friend in my life- and I am so thankful for her.
I love Kristie and Mike’s story because it’s one of reconnection. Mike also braved the halls of Redland and Magruder with us- and towards the end of college, Kristie and Mike reconnected through mutual friends, fell in love…and the rest is history…shooting their wedding next September is going to be one of the highlights of my wedding career.
I love seeing Kristie and Mike together- their happiness is contagious…and they are TOTAL champs in front of the camera…and so is their dog Bailey. Joey and I left wanting a pup JUST like him.
Joey and I met up with Kristie and Mike a couple weekends ago to catch Harper’s Ferry at sunrise. This town is already one that holds so much old time magic- but when you add a newly engaged couple at sunrise, the magic really starts to happen.
Kristie and Mike, I feel SO blessed to be your wedding photographer-I love you guys- September can’t get here soon enough.
