Recently, I’ve become so fascinated with cities. Through our time in living in London, DC, and Bogota and traveling to various cities all over the globe- I’ve grown increasingly interested in experiencing the character and history behind what makes a city unique. Cities are magical- each in their own way- and I think that’s what fascinates me the most!
D.C. definitely holds its own kind of magic. Besides the fact that it is our nation’s capital- it holds such a unique charm- a classic, clean elegance that I can’t quite describe. Maybe it’s the history it holds- but I always SO enjoy photographing couples in the various unique parts of our capital. One such favorite is the ever-charming and historic neighborhood of Georgetown. I love everything about it- the adorable row houses, colorful storefronts, the canal, and how it sits just off the Potomac…the perfect spot for an engagement session- especially one for a D.C. couple. Enter…Tiffany and Mark!
I first met Tiffany and Mark at Jillian and Jason’s Inner Harbor Wedding this past September. They both were in the bridal party, and it didn’t take long for me to figure out that these two were together—and engaged! I immediately loved these two, and not-so-secretly hoped I would have the privilege of photographing them one day!And that day came! We met up in Georgetown on a gorgeous December day and explored and photographed well after sunset to capture the Christmas and city-lights. I had the best time getting to know these two more- they are such a delight to be around, and I seriously cannot wait for their truly-D.C. wedding this June!
Tiff and Mark- thanks so much for trekking all over Georgetown with me! You two are such a joy- June can’t get here quick enough!
