Truth : When it comes to prepping blog posts- this little writing blurb section is incredibly difficult. How do you sum up the most wonderfully special day in just a few paragraphs? And to add to that- how do I accurately describe how much each of these clients of mine mean to me without sounding like the queen of clichés? It’s no easy task- and then people like Kristie and Mike get married- and it just becomes impossible. So far it’s taken me about 45 minutes just to start writing, and I’m about to take a little walk around our little condo for some clarity before I dive in, maybe even grab a snack…gotta reward myself for the 2 sentences I’ve gotten down so far
I’ve known Kristie and Mike for a long time- like elementary and middle school long time. Kristie has been one of the most constant friends in my life- She made the otherwise awkward middle school years bearable and even awesome- and since then I’ve been lucky enough to call her my forever friend.
Mike also walked those same middle school halls as us- and Kristie and Mike developed a friendship through studying woes and competing grades- but it wasn’t until the very end of college that the two reconnected- and the inevitably awesome happened- they fell in love!
Perhaps the most difficult of all portions to write in this wedding recap is describing how wonderfully perfect Kristie and Mike are together. You know how people say that when you meet the right person, they bring out the best in you? Well, separately- these two are spectacular humans. Genuine, kind, compassionate, loving…the list goes on. You can imagine how wonderful September 26, 2015 was when these two came together forever.
Kristie and Mike’s wedding day was one of unending joy. Thinking back quickly on the day- I can think of hundreds of perfect moments. I’ve been lucky enough to relive September 26 a few times now in going through their pictures- and I can’t wait to share with you this contagious joy of a day.
Kristie and Mike- you two are SO dear to me. I hope my lacking words are somehow made up by these picturesThank you both for your wonderful friendship, and for the gift of being your photographer. Infinite amounts of love to you both, Mr. and Mrs. Mags!
